Before you call
What dispatch would tell you on the phone. How the bike is secured
The front wheel goes into a wheel chock on the deck, then four soft-tie straps run to the triple tree and the frame. Nothing touches the handlebars, the tank or the fairings. Lowered bikes and custom bars are tied to the frame. The driver photographs the bike before it moves.
If it will not roll
A seized wheel, locked steering or a missing key is not a problem. The bike is winched up the deck and into the chock. Tell dispatch when you call so the driver arrives ready.
Riding along
One passenger rides in the cab, heated, with your helmet and gear on your lap. Scooters and mopeds ride the same deck with a two-point tie.
What it costs
One price for the hook-up and the first 10 miles, per mile beyond that and told before the truck rolls, the same at night and on weekends. We direct-bill most motorcycle roadside plans; otherwise the receipt we text you is what they need to reimburse you.
Asked a lot
The four questions dispatch hears most on a motorcycle towing call. Anything else — just ask when you call.01Will you scratch the tank or bars?Soft-ties only · never the bars
No. Straps go to the triple tree and frame through soft-ties, the bike sits in a wheel chock, and nothing touches the bars or tank.
02Can I ride along?Yes · helmet on your lap
Yes. One passenger in the cab, heated. Your helmet and gear ride with you.
03What if it won't roll?Winched on · no problem
A seized wheel or locked steering is fine. We winch it up the deck onto the chock.
04Do you work with my insurance?Direct-bill most plans
We direct-bill most motorcycle roadside plans. If yours isn't on the list, pay us and we write the receipt they need.
