Dispatch &
cancellation
Cancel before the truck rolls: no charge. After dispatch: a standard $75 fee, unless a different distance-based fee was disclosed to you and accepted before dispatch.
00 · Overview
This Dispatch, Cancellation & Refund Policy governs customer-requested towing, roadside assistance, recovery, transportation, and related services provided by Prestige C.K. Towing Inc.
It forms part of the Prestige C.K. Towing Inc. Towing & Roadside Assistance Terms of Service.

01 · Service Requests
Before requesting dispatch, customers should provide accurate information concerning the vehicle, location, destination, vehicle condition, requested service, access conditions, keys, wheels, drivetrain, accident condition, and any circumstance that could require specialized equipment.
The quote and dispatch decision may depend upon the information provided.
02 · What “Dispatched” Means
A truck/operator is considered dispatched once Prestige assigns or commits an operator and tow truck to the service request and the operator begins responding to the call, or when Prestige communicates to the customer that the truck has been dispatched.
Prestige's dispatch records, communications, timestamps, and GPS information may be used to establish when dispatch occurred.
03 · Cancellation Before Dispatch
A customer may cancel a service request before a truck/operator has been dispatched without paying the standard cancellation fee.
If a prepaid amount was collected for a service that was not dispatched and no other specifically disclosed non-refundable charge applies, the refundable amount will be returned through the appropriate payment method.
04 · Cancellation After Dispatch
Once a truck/operator has been dispatched, a $75 cancellation fee applies if the customer cancels the service before completion.
The cancellation fee reflects resources already committed to the service call, including operator time, truck availability, travel, fuel, dispatch operations, and the inability to accept other calls during that period.
05 · Distance-Based Adjustment to Cancellation Fee
The standard post-dispatch cancellation fee is $75.
For an unusually long dispatch distance, Prestige may quote a different cancellation fee based upon the distance involved.
Any adjusted cancellation fee must be specifically disclosed to the customer and accepted before dispatch.
If Prestige does not disclose and obtain acceptance of a different cancellation fee before dispatch, the cancellation fee remains $75.
Prestige will not rely upon a general statement that “fees may vary” as authorization for an undisclosed distance-based cancellation charge.
06 · Cancellation After Driver Arrival
The post-dispatch cancellation fee also applies when the Prestige operator has arrived at or substantially reached the service location and the customer then cancels or no longer requires service, provided no greater charge has become due because authorized towing, recovery, roadside service, or other work has already begun.
07 · Gone on Arrival / No-Show
A service request may be treated as a Gone on Arrival (“GOA”) or no-show when the operator arrives and the vehicle is no longer present, the customer has left, another towing company has already removed or serviced the vehicle, the customer cannot be reached after reasonable attempts, the location provided was materially incorrect, required access cannot be obtained, or the customer otherwise fails to make the vehicle available for the requested service.
A GOA or no-show occurring after dispatch is treated as a post-dispatch cancellation, and the applicable cancellation fee may be charged.
Customers should cancel as soon as they know Prestige is no longer needed.
08 · Assistance From Another Provider
If a customer requests Prestige and later receives assistance from police, another towing provider, a roadside company, a friend, a repair facility, or another person, the customer must promptly contact Prestige and cancel the active dispatch.
Failure to notify Prestige before the truck has been dispatched may result in the applicable cancellation fee.
09 · Cancellation Because Vehicle Starts or Becomes Operable
If the vehicle begins operating again after Prestige has already dispatched a truck, the applicable post-dispatch cancellation fee remains due if the customer chooses not to proceed with the requested service.
The fact that the vehicle later starts, moves, or appears operable does not reverse resources already committed to dispatch.
10 · Service Already Begun
Once Prestige materially begins the authorized towing, hookup, loading, roadside assistance, winching, recovery, or other service, the transaction is no longer treated solely as a cancellation.
Charges for authorized work actually performed or services commenced may apply according to the price disclosed for that service.
Where required by Illinois law, applicable charges will be disclosed before towing or additional work begins.
11 · Vehicle Already Hooked or Loaded
If the vehicle has been connected to, lifted by, loaded onto, or secured to towing equipment, the customer may request that work stop where it can safely and legally be stopped.
The customer remains responsible for charges associated with authorized work already performed, subject to applicable law.
The operator will not unload, reposition, or leave a vehicle in a location reasonably determined to be unsafe or unlawful.
12 · Incorrect Vehicle or Location Information
Pricing and equipment are based upon the information provided before dispatch.
Conditions discovered on scene may differ materially.
Examples include a vehicle that does not roll or steer, locked wheels, missing keys, undisclosed collision damage, unexpected vehicle weight, a lowered or modified vehicle, AWD or 4WD requirements, off-road positioning, parking-garage limitations, a ditch or embankment recovery, additional winching, or inaccessible property.
Prestige may provide a revised quote when additional services or equipment are required.
If the customer declines the revised service after Prestige has already dispatched a truck, the applicable cancellation fee may still apply.
13 · Additional Charges
Additional towing, recovery, labor, equipment, waiting, mileage, or other charges will not be imposed merely because this Policy says additional charges are possible.
Charges requiring advance disclosure under applicable law will be disclosed before the applicable service is performed.
Where a revised price is required because site conditions differ materially from the information originally provided, the customer will be given the opportunity to authorize or decline the additional service where required by law.
14 · Customer Delay
The customer should be ready to provide access to the vehicle when the operator arrives.
If the customer causes a substantial delay because keys, authorization, vehicle access, destination information, property access, or another required condition is unavailable, Prestige may stop the service or quote an additional waiting charge when legally permitted.
Any charge that requires advance disclosure will be disclosed before it is incurred.
15 · Estimated Arrival Time Is Not Guaranteed
Any ETA given by Prestige is an estimate.
Traffic, weather, road closures, construction, police activity, accident scenes, emergency calls, previous service calls, distance, operator availability, equipment requirements, and other circumstances may change the actual arrival time.
A customer who no longer wishes to wait must contact Prestige to cancel the request.
A delayed ETA does not automatically cancel an active dispatch.
16 · Cancellation by Prestige
If Prestige cancels an accepted request because Prestige cannot provide the service and the inability to provide service was not caused by the customer's actions, Prestige will not charge the customer a cancellation fee for Prestige's cancellation.
Any refundable prepaid amount for a service not performed will be returned as appropriate.
17 · Unsafe or Legally Prohibited Service
Prestige may refuse or stop a service if the operator reasonably determines that performing the service would be unsafe, illegal, beyond the capacity of available equipment, or inappropriate under the circumstances.
Conditions may include dangerous traffic, fire, flooding, ice, unstable terrain, hazardous materials, violence or threats, insufficient clearance, vehicle weight, inaccessible property, police instructions, ownership disputes, or another material safety or legal issue.
Any charge for resources already committed will be determined according to the applicable disclosure, work performed, circumstances, and applicable law.
18 · Completed Services
Once an authorized service has been properly completed, payments are generally not refundable merely because the customer later changes their mind, discovers a less expensive provider, decides they could have handled the issue differently, or no longer believes the service was necessary.
This does not apply to confirmed duplicate charges, billing errors, services charged but not performed, unauthorized charges, amounts exceeding properly agreed pricing, or refunds otherwise required by applicable law.
19 · Damage Claims Are Not Cancellation Requests
A claim that a vehicle was damaged during towing or roadside service will not be dismissed merely as a request for a refund.
Prestige will evaluate vehicle-damage allegations separately using available photographs, vehicle-condition information, operator reports, dispatch records, GPS data, communications, invoices, insurance information, and customer-provided evidence.
Customers should report suspected new damage as soon as reasonably practicable.
20 · Billing Disputes
Customers who believe a charge is incorrect should contact Prestige promptly.
Prestige C.K. Towing Inc.
Phone: (708) 830-1330
Email: [email protected]
Please provide the customer name, date of service, vehicle information, service location, and reason for disputing the charge.
Prestige may review dispatch timestamps, GPS data, telephone or text communications, photographs, payment records, operator notes, and other relevant evidence.
Nothing in this Policy eliminates a lawful dispute right provided by Illinois law, federal law, a payment-card agreement, or another applicable legal requirement.
21 · Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact Prestige promptly concerning disputed charges so that Prestige can investigate and attempt to resolve the matter.
Initiating a chargeback does not by itself determine whether a charge was authorized or valid.
Prestige may respond to a chargeback by providing the payment processor with relevant evidence including authorization records, dispatch timestamps, GPS records, communications, photographs, invoices, cancellation disclosures, and service documentation.
Nothing in this section restricts a lawful payment-card dispute right.
22 · Illinois Towing Requirements
For towing transactions subject to mandatory Illinois towing disclosures, Prestige will provide the disclosures and customer-rights information required by applicable law.
Those disclosures may include the destination and all applicable towing, storage, and other fees.
Where a specific statutory disclosure conflicts with this general Policy, the statutory disclosure controls.
23 · Law-Enforcement and Non-Consensual Towing
This customer-requested cancellation policy may not apply in the same manner to law-enforcement-authorized towing, governmental towing, impounds, private-property relocation towing, or other non-consensual towing.
Such services may be governed by separate statutes, ordinances, governmental procedures, contracts, rates, or vehicle-release requirements.
24 · No Waiver of Mandatory Rights
Nothing in this Policy eliminates, limits, or waives any consumer right, towing requirement, refund obligation, disclosure requirement, or other protection that cannot lawfully be waived.
