Before you call
What dispatch would tell you on the phone. What it costs
One flat price covers the hook-up and the first 10 miles anywhere inside the 15-mile ring around our Oak Lawn location. Past the ring it is a per-mile rate, and dispatch tells you the number before the truck moves. Nights, weekends and holidays are the same price. Card or cash, receipt by text, and we direct-bill most roadside plans.
How long it takes
Average arrival is about 25 minutes. As soon as the truck rolls you get a text with the driver's name, the plate and a live ETA, so you are never guessing. A typical local job, Oak Lawn to Burbank, is under an hour door to door.
While you wait
On a highway shoulder, stay in the car with your seatbelt on and hazards flashing unless you can get well clear of traffic. Have the key ready and decide where the car goes: your driveway, a shop or a dealer. Closed dealer is fine, we use the key drop and text you a photo of where it sits.
EVs, AWD and lowered cars
Anything with all-wheel drive, a battery pack or low ground clearance rides on the flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. EVs go into tow mode first and never on dollies. The wheel-lift comes out only for tight garages and parking decks where the deck cannot fit, with dollies under the rear if needed.

Asked a lot
The four questions dispatch hears most on a light duty towing call. Anything else — just ask when you call.01Can I ride along? One passenger · heated cab
Yes — one passenger in the cab, heated. Kids in a car seat come too.
02Will you tow my EV without damaging it?Flatbed only · tow-mode · no dollies
EVs only ever go on the flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. We put the car in tow mode first and never use dollies on a battery car.
03Can you take it to a dealer that's closed?Key drop · photo of the spot texted to you
Yes. We park it in the dealer's after-hours spot, use their key drop, and text you a photo of exactly where it sits.
04Do you work with my insurance?Direct-bill most plans · receipt for the rest
We direct-bill most roadside plans. If yours isn't on the list, pay us and we write the receipt they need to reimburse you.
