Good to know

Before you call

What dispatch would tell you on the phone.

What counts as medium duty

Anything up to 26,000 lbs gross vehicle weight rating: box trucks, cube vans, shuttle and school buses, Sprinter-style vans, dually pickups and class C motorhomes. The GVWR is on the sticker in the driver's door jamb. Semis and tractor-trailers are heavy duty, and we refer those to a heavy wrecker we trust.

Docks, decks and alleys

The medium-duty truck runs a wheel-lift with underreach and about seven feet of deck clearance, so it reaches a loading dock, a parking deck or a tight alley where a flatbed would never get in. The driver photographs the vehicle before it moves.

For fleet managers

One number to call, one monthly invoice, net-30 terms. Tell dispatch the unit number and where it goes and the driver handles the rest; you get the same driver-name and ETA text as any other call. Shop and fleet accounts are opened through the contact page or over the phone.

What it costs

One price for the hook-up and the first 10 miles, per mile beyond that and told upfront, the same price at 2 AM on a holiday as at noon on a Tuesday. We direct-bill most commercial roadside plans; otherwise you get a receipt your plan will accept.

FAQ

Asked a lot

The four questions dispatch hears most on a medium duty towing call. Anything else — just ask when you call.
01Do you tow semis? No · we refer you to a heavy wrecker

No. We are light and medium duty only — up to 26,000 lbs. Call anyway and we'll point you to a heavy-duty outfit we trust.

02Can you get into a loading dock?Yes · underreach wheel-lift

Yes. The wheel-lift has underreach for docks, parking decks and tight alleys where a flatbed cannot get in.

03Do you offer fleet accounts?Net 30 · one number, one invoice

Yes. Fleet and shop accounts get one dispatch number, one monthly invoice and net-30 terms. Ask dispatch or use the form on the contact page.

04Do you work with my insurance?Direct-bill most plans · receipt for the rest

We direct-bill most commercial roadside plans. If yours isn't on the list, pay us and we write the receipt they need.
