Before you call
What dispatch would tell you on the phone. Before the car moves
The driver photographs every side of the car on scene. Those are the before-and-after shots the adjuster asks for, and you get them with the receipt. Glass and debris are swept, fluids are absorbed, and if the car is off the road it is winched out in a straight line from the factory points.
Where the car goes
Straight to the body shop of your choice, tonight, or to our secure lot on 110th Street in Oak Lawn until you and your insurer decide. Lot storage is billed at the posted ICC rate. Take what you need out of the car at the scene; anything else during lot hours, 7 AM to 7 PM.
Insurance and the police
Most collision policies cover the tow. Some insurers direct-bill; for the rest, the receipt and photos are what they need. If an officer is on scene, tell dispatch and we coordinate on where the car goes. A car already moved to an impound lot can be picked up from there once it is released.
What it costs
One price for the recovery and the first 10 miles. A winch from a ditch or embankment is told upfront, nights and holidays are the same price, and the cleanup is not an extra line on the bill.
