An AWD car towed with two wheels on the ground spins the center differential and can wreck it in a few miles. Every AWD, 4x4 and Quattro-style car we tow rides on the flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. If a tight garage forces the wheel-lift, dollies go under the other axle so nothing turns.
Lowered and low-clearance
The driver looks at the front lip and the approach angle before the winch line goes on, tilts the deck as flat as the ground allows, and winches the car up slowly rather than driving it on. Air suspension gets raised first. If the car needs more than that, dispatch wants to know on the call.
Exotics and anything you care about
Soft straps go over the tires, never the frame or the suspension, and the car is photographed from every side before it moves and again at the drop. Ride along in the cab if you want to watch it every mile.
What it costs
The same flat local rate as any other car: hook-up and the first 10 miles for one number, quoted on the phone, the same at night and on weekends. A closed dealer or shop is fine; we use the key drop and text you a photo of where it sits.
